My Hometown
My hometown is Shelbyville, Kentucky. It is a special place to me because it is where I met my high school sweetheart. Today, we are raising our three children here, which makes Shelbyville even more meaningful to me. It is a place that holds many important memories for my family and me.
My Major and Future Plans
I am majoring in Information Technology with an emphasis in Cybersecurity at the University of the Cumberlands. I started college in 2025 and plan to graduate with my bachelor's degree in 2029. After graduation, I plan to continue working from home while building my own Cybersecurity business. My goal is to use the education and skills I gain through college to develop a successful career in cybersecurity and grow my own business.
My Relationship with the Internet
The internet is very important in my everyday life. I currently work from home in accounts receivable and take online courses for my college degree, so I rely on the internet for both my education and my career. I spend approximately 10 to 12 hours a day on the internet between school and work. I also use it to stay connected with family and friends around the globe. One of the things I value most about the internet is that it allows me to communicate with people and access information no matter where they are located.
